Live music, good food and outside to top it off. The nachos are delish! Queso was sooo good on them and we added brisket! Staff was super friendly as well.

SandBar Tiki & Grille has such a cool, relaxed atmosphere! I went alone and sat at the bar, but felt completely comfortable—almost like I was on my own back porch enjoying really good live music. I ordered the salmon salad with strawberries, cranberries, nuts and other fresh toppings. It was delicious, colorful and satisfying without feeling too heavy. The service was friendly and attentive too. A great place to unwind, enjoy live music and feel welcome, even when visiting solo. I’ll definitely return!

Great atmosphere great music and vibes.

This place is fun! I went with my daughter to get some drinks and listen to the live band, Hollow Point. The band was great, and really got the crowd going. The drinks were tasty, the crowd ranged from early 20's to 70+.The sunset view was incredible. I definitely recommend visiting.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere, live band. The waitstaff is unbelievably attentive and kind. Great place to stop for a delicious meal right off the beach.

Recommend that the cook not put so many French fries on the the beef brisket platter. Otherwise the plater was good.

Outstanding place to listen to music.

Coming here is a unique experience. It actually IS a tiki hut, complete with lights and live music on most nights. The service was great both times we went. Fast and friendly. I got the brisket sandwich and added jalapeños. The mix of sweet and spicy complimented the sandwich perfectly.

This is that kinda place where you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Very friendly ladies greet you and get you seated right away. Please keep in mind that I was there during the off season on a Wednesday and this place will be very crowded during the regular season. Our food was very good and right on point, from order to being served 20 minutes or less. Ashley was very attentive to every detail and we felt like we had been coming here for years. Went here several years ago. Food was good and plentiful. The whole island closed down after the blue plate special.

Beautiful place right on the beach. It is a fun and relaxing spot. Emilie was our server and she is a gem. Knows her job so well and has been there over a decade! That tells you a lot about the people who run the place! Food was delicious and the restaurant offered a lot of choices. There is valet parking which is an absolute necessity in that area. Hope you enjoy your time there!

I went to SandBar Tiki & Grille for the first time last night, and I honestly can’t say enough about the experience. While the food and atmosphere were fantastic, this review is really about Becca, our bartender. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcome. She was warm, personable, funny, attentive, and genuinely kind. Finding out she’s a single mom working two jobs made her positive attitude and incredible work ethic even more impressive. Despite everything she has on her plate, she never stopped smiling or making every guest feel like a priority. SandBar Tiki & Grille should be proud to have someone like Becca representing them. She turned a great night into an unforgettable one. Thank you, Becca, for making our experience so special, you truly are a beautiful inside and out rockstar.

The entertainment was great. Funny with music. He kept us laughing. The kids loved it and can't wait to go back.

My favorite place to eat when I come down for vacation. I havent been since 2024, and honestly don't like the new renovations, it lost a lot of parking, also not a fan of valet and no option to just park, games are gone, and less seats near the water. I understand the damages from the hurricane, but it lost its outside awesomeness. Still amazing food

Great place to stop before or after the beach or no beach at all! The shrimp fritters were unique and delicious. The kids liked the little sand bucket the food came in, and the portion was huge. We also ordered a sampler, calamari, and tuna. They have a great tiki bar to order happy hour and to go drinks at, too. The live music was nice!

Great place to enjoy lunch or dinner. Food was amazing. Awesome service. Highly recommended.

Updated June 2026 Still our favorite place to go. The tiki hut is a nice addition and the vibes always high. Food and drinks as well as the service are always great. Updated January 2025 They put a lot of effort in recovering from the hurricanes. Please support them when they are ready to re-open! Updated August 2024: We had a great time as always! We visited twice during our last stay. Food is great and even though it’s always packed, especially on weekends, the service is always really good and fast! It’s a fun place to listen to live music while enjoying a drink. The only pity we experienced (with all the restaurants from the Manasota Key Group) is that they have trouble with using European credit cards. I think it might be a technical issue. Or they need to understand that they eventually have to put the card inside on the bottom and let the customers use their pin. And not swipe the card through on the side. I hope that gets fixed. 2023: We’ve been there quite a lot and they never disappoint! The food is always fresh, especially the fries are delicious and the drinks are also great. They also offer vegetarian options. It’s a fun place with waterfront dining and live music as well.

We are so glad that we decided to try the SandBar Tiki & Grille. I had the shrimp basket and my wife had the grouper basket. We both loved the food. Both baskets were served with a side of coleslaw. I’m not usually a fan of coleslaw, but it was delicious. We also had a couple of drinks. I was glad to see that they had Stella on tap, and my wife ordered a Coco Loco. The service was fantastic, as was the live music. Needless to say, we would definitely try it again when we are vacationing down here again.

Great bar/restaurant! The tiki bar and all the fire pit tables are a great add. Ashlee is an awesome bartender. Definitely recommend!

Great stuff! We've been here several times over the years. It's consistently very good! The atmosphere is real fun. Outside, there are lots of fun games to play and also a live band plays at many times. There is a covered eating area with fans to keep a little cooler if you don't want to be inside but also not in the direct sun. Great seafood if that's your thing.

We LOVE Sandbar!! We make a point to visit everytime we are vacationing in the area. We even held our rehearsal dinner here for our wedding, and all of our guests had a great time!
